Reporting To: Operation Manager

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of HR Service Consultant to provide reliable, timely, and professional support. The Human Resource Assistant is the first point of contact responsible for resolving employee and manager queries across a range of HR processes, collaborating with other HR and non-HR professionals to resolve more complex queries or queries outside of area of expertise.


Required Experience and Skill Set:

  • You will have a Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or Business Administration or other related field with work experience of 1 to 2 years.

  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to adapt and prioritize, working in an ambiguous environment while driving for results

  • Must operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others

  • Must be proactive and take initiative

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision

  • Should be physically fit and mentally robust.

Major area of responsibilities and Key Duties:

  • Responsible for the new employee on-boarding process such as drafting of employment contracts, distributing and collecting new hire forms, liaising with Payroll/IT, and creating and maintaining employee files, performing background checks, etc.

  • Liaise with benefits carrier to enroll new hires, answer employee questions and manage changes.

  • Input and maintain employee records such as terminations and compensation changes, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate at all times.

  • Provide user support to managers and staff for Workday self-service queries.

  • Act as a resource to stakeholders concerning general Human Resource policies and procedures.

  • Prepare reports and HR metrics.

  • Responsible for leave management working with key stakeholders to ensure employee leaves (including maternity leaves, disability, workplace injury and unpaid leaves) are processed and documented correctly.

  • Provide administrative support to the HR and recruitment team including, but not limited to; updating and maintaining training records, coordinating training initiatives, employee referral bonus program, employee recognition programs, assist with updating HR policies, prepare documents for HR matters, etc.

  • Build strong relationships with client group at all levels of the organization.

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual HR compliance requirements.

  • Seek continuous improvements to optimize process efficiency.

  • Other duties as required

You will ensure that all the documents are up-to date of all the employees and updated in the Company's Database. Upkeeping of the Company documents and with effective and efficient manner provide criteria on determining the recruitment process for the given position in the company.
